Nearly every Friday starting at 3:00pm, the Ross Center hosts a drive thru food pantry. These weekly events allow the community to get what they need, like fresh produce, frozen meats, canned goods, and personal hygiene products. Through the Open Door Connections program, neighborhood ambassadors are now spending time directly in Muncie Neighborhoods. Ambassadors are ready to get to know you and help you connect with support resources, healthcare services and coverage, and more.
A Neighborhood Ambassador is present at every community market that the Ross Center hosts. Our community market’s happen bi-weekly on Fridays at 3pm. See above for market dates.
Join us every third Wednesday of the month as we host the monthly neighborhood association meetings. The Thomas Park Avondale Neighborhood Association, currently run by President James Heimlech meets to hear concerns from our neighbors and discuss ideas to better our neighborhood and community. Join us at 6pm.
